Scotti Wilborne believes in discovering a passion and pursuing it. For Scotti, that passion is creating artwork. Whether it's oil painting, charcoal, or pencil, Scotti loves the challenge of capturing the beauty she sees around her. Scotti enjoyed art at an early age, but she began understanding her talent and passion for art while she attended Baylor University. Although she majored in English at Baylor, she took a drawing class as an elective during her junior year. After winning the "Protégé of the Year" award in this drawing class, Scotti's professor encouraged her to continue developing as an artist. With the professor's valuable instruction and encouragement, Scotti gained the confidence she needed to begin a career as an artist. Scotti started pursuing art professionally after moving to Little Rock, Arkansas, in 2006. She has displayed work in Little Rock at Stephano's Fine Art Gallery (2008), and you can currently view her work at the Tobi Fairley Gallery on Cantrell Road.
